Welcome to the Hippo Swim Club
We are a small, friendly, highly qualified, learn to swim club based in High Wycombe, Bucks, who have been in operation since the mid 90’s.
Our emphasis is to teach children and adults to swim. Our courses include water safety, survival skills, learning to dive and we aim to have fun at the same time.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - RGS POOL OUT OF SERVICE - posted 2/7/10
Dear Parents and Swimmers, Regretably, I have further bad news relating to the RGS swimming pool. The RGS have today informed me that the pool is suffering from a serious leak; early indications are showing that this could be the result of a cracked pipe. Further investigations will be taking place urgently to establish the exact cause and the RGS will then convey their findings to me as soon as any news comes through. As a result of this, all scheduled lessons covering Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday classes will have to be cancelled up until the end of this term; I am however looking for further time at the Millbrook pool and will let you know as soon as I have any news. I am really sorry about this situation but I can assure you that I will do all I can to find alternative pool time during this period and as it stands I do have availability within 2 x crash courses being run at Millbrook school over the following weeks: Monday 26th July to Friday 30th July mornings, 30 minute sessions Monday 2nd August to Friday 6th August mornings, 30 minute sessions Please keep checking my website at www.hipposwimclub.co.uk for further updates and obviously credits will be due.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - SUMMER INTENSIVE CRASH COURSES AT MILLBROOK COMBINED SCHOOL - posted 9/4/10
Summer Intensive crash courses for children over 5 mornings- Monday to Friday, suitable for beginner level 1 through to level 6 Monday 26th July to Friday 30th July and Monday 2nd August to Friday 6th August. There is a lot of interest for these courses and limited space, so, please call now to reserve a place.
